The Union is teaming up with Bike Dr, Chelmsford Council and the Police to host a special bike-themed pop-up living room event.
You can book a Bike Dr appointment here: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/aru-earth-week-2026-dr-bikes-4816539 . Appointments are available from 09:30–15:00.
From 11:30–13:30, the Police and Chelmsford Council will also be offering a free bike marking service. This registers your bike on a national database accessible to authorities, helping to prove ownership. If your bike is ever lost or stolen and later recovered, the marking makes it much easier to reunite you with your bike.
The Essex Fire and Safer Roads teams will be there too, sharing advice on road safety and possibly handing out a few freebies along the way.
